Care here starts with your history, an examination, a functional joint assessment and orthopedic testing, with digital X-ray on site if it's warranted. What that finds decides your plan.

Many people who come in with back pain don't have a diagnosis. They just know it keeps getting in the way.
Stiffness that makes getting out of bed hard.
An ache that builds after sitting too long.
A sharp catch when you twist, bend or lift.
Low back pain after lifting or training.
A catch in your lower back after nine holes.
Pain that runs into your hip or down one leg.
Some back pain settles on its own. If yours hasn't, or it keeps coming back, that's a good reason to find out why.
Care begins with a functional joint assessment and orthopedic testing, drawn from named systems: the Selective Functional Movement Assessment, the Functional Movement Screen, Functional Range Conditioning and Functional Range Release. The point is to find why the painful structure is being overloaded, not only where it hurts.
With back pain, the site of pain and the cause can sit in different places. A hip or upper back that doesn't move well can leave the lower back doing extra work.
Digital X-ray is on site for when the assessment calls for it. You'll be told what the assessment and testing found, in plain language, before anyone touches a treatment plan.

What the assessment finds decides which of these go into your plan, in one building, with one team.

Hands-on adjustment of the spine and the joints of the arms and legs, used when the assessment shows a joint that isn't moving well.

Rehab and progressive exercise in the same building as your adjustment, on the same plan, with the same team.

A thin needle placed into a tight, overworked muscle. Used alongside adjustment and exercise when the assessment points to the muscle, not only the joint.

The movements you learn to do yourself, chosen for what you're trying to get back to, and taught so you can keep doing them between visits.
Manual and soft-tissue therapy, shockwave, RPW and laser are used in the office when the plan calls for them.
You won't just be lying on a table. Treatment here is something you do, not only something done to you. You will learn the movements that matter for what you are trying to get back to, and why each one is in the plan. Building a body that lasts is the goal.
There are three doctors here, in one location. You choose yours when you book, and you see the same one at every visit, so you never have to re-tell your story to someone who's reading it for the first time.

Your appointment starts when it's scheduled to start, a standard we hold ourselves to.
Before work · after work · Saturday mornings
Visit 1 · about 30 to 40 minutes.
Your history, an examination, an assessment, and digital X-rays if they're warranted. If you do need imaging it's done here, that day, so you're not sent somewhere else and asked to come back.
Visit 2 · complimentary.
What was found, what the plan is, how your insurance applies and what it will cost, all before any treatment starts that day and before the plan is billed.
Your intake forms are done online before you arrive, so there's no clipboard and nothing standing between you and your appointment time. Wear what you can move in. Shorts or loose pants if the trouble is in your back, hip or knee.
We accept most insurance plans. Upon your initial visit, we will request a copy of your insurance card to verify benefits. Should you require payment for a copay or co-insurance, we will promptly inform you of the applicable charges.
No insurance. No worries. Cash visits are available. The cost of a cash visit can vary between $65 and $100, contingent upon the specific services rendered during your initial appointment. We also offer cash pricing for routine visits, which can range between $50 and $75.
Your second visit is complimentary. That is where you hear what was found and what it will take.
Any additional testing, such as X-rays, will be discussed with you before it takes place. Shockwave, RPW and laser cost extra, and we will discuss that with you in advance. Outside our scope? We'll refer you immediately.
Imaging only if what we find warrants it, and we talk that through with you first. If you do need imaging it's done here, that day, so you're not sent somewhere else and asked to come back.
No. Many of the people we see have no diagnosis, just something that feels off. Visit 1 is your history, an examination and the assessment. Visit 2 is where you hear what was found and what, if anything, to do about it.
You don't have to know which one you need. Both kinds of care are delivered by one team on a single plan, in one building.
The goal is to have most athletes continue to train in some capacity around their injuries. There are multiple different ways to stay active, regress/modify exercises to continue to gain in other areas not affected by injury or pain limitations. Of course, no one rule applies but our staff will use a variety of assessment methods, testing as well as movement analysis to determine how to keep you safely training through your rehab process with us.
Appointments start at 7 AM on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and run until 7 PM Monday through Thursday. We also have Saturday mornings. On Mondays and Wednesdays the office is closed between noon and 2.
